History of Her Discovering
Created by a woman empowered to find herself again.

Her Discovering started in March 2019 as Girl Discovering. Girl Discovering was connected to the inner girl within me who did not always feel heard. I began the page following a desire to write a blog and get my words out there to share with ladies who may have felt similar to me.
I started chronicling ideas and happenings of my life that related to me doing something outside of my comfort zone.
When I started the blog I found myself stuck in a repetitive cycle of wanting more from life, but ultimately not doing much to change my patterns and behaviors.

So, I took a leap of faith and started following people who emitted positivity, posted inspirational quotes, talked about their goals and ambitions, and people who inspired me to follow through.
As a girl who was discovering how to just be, take up space, exist in world with so many societal standards, I learned that it wasn't just the girl in me, it was the woman in me, hence the name switch to Her Discovering.

Her Discovering is about all women. Our self-discovery that is ever-evolving and changing. Our healing of childhood wounds, our journey to empowerment, our complex and illustrious lives.
Her Discovering is me and it is you. We are women who seek out adventure, new ideas, self-love, and finding motivation within and outside ourselves to be our best selves. With humility and grace, with strength and power, with all that a woman is. EVERYTHING SHE WANTS TO BE.
